Artist description
Five person ska/punk band with definite jazz and funk flavors. Flat Planet likes it when people in the crowd aren't worried about making themselves look ridiculous. They do it on a daily basis. |

Artist History
Started in 1992 as a funk band in Gilroy, CA. Bad cover songs & second rate pop/rock riddled their practices for two years until the hornline began changing the style. Coming up in talent and popularity in the same era as Skankin Pickle and Salmon, Flat Planet has withstood the years. Ska is unpopular, ska is radio/popular, to now where it is as unpopular as stanky foot sweat. With the deletion and insertion of different talent through the years the style became its own unique ska sound. |
