Artist History
Original band from Denver, Co USA started in 1992 by Bassist/Vox Murray Neill as a format for writing music. Performing band formed in 1996 with guitarist Bill Hope and drummer Nick Seelinger. 4-Song demo Strength Beyond The Pain followed later that year. Autumn of 1997 came with a brief stint as a 4-piece with current guitarist Jeff Anderson. Hope soon left the band as did the idea of being a 4-piece. The full-length 2nd CD The Path Of Most Resistance was released in 1999, followed in 2000 by The Lost Art Of Dying, and the departure of Seelinger. After some time off and a brief stint with drummer Chris Reser, current drummer Steve Patt joined in 2001. Drudgery's 4th CD Negative Residual Energy was released in 2002. The band has played over 80 shows in Colorado, and has also performed in Salt Lake City and San Antonio. Drudgery has had the pleasure of playing shows with the likes of Suffocation, S.O.D., Flotsam & Jetsam, Skinlab, Pissing Razors, Crowbar, Hed p.e., Rorschach Test, among others.

Press Reviews
It is refreshing to hear something a little bit off-kilter every now and then, and Drudgery delivers exactly that. Brutal, aggresive shit that is unique and constantly forces you to listen. Expect to see Denver and the Colorado region become an even hotter spot for heavy music with Drudgery leading the parade. The New CD The Path Of Most Resistance will make Drudgery a household name, at least in houses painted black. From T. Morton Pit Magazine #23. (more reviews coming soon!) |
