Artist History
Veil of Tears (VOT) was formed in San Francisco in 1990. The original trio was made up Wade Hathaway, Tim Perdue and James Staryak. The band gained a small following in the San Francisco bar scene and the first Demo was completed in 1991. By the Mid 90's, the band had gone through some personnel changes and the new line found Staryak replaced on drumsby Johnny Blade, also the band's dynamic and creative range was vastly increased with Andre James joining the band on lead guitar. The close of the decade found the project remaining as a Duo (Hathaway & Perdue)mostly playing acoustic sets with occasional ad-hock revivals. Wade Hathaway now lives in NYC while T.L. Perdue can be found in various bands in San Francisco. The two continue to collaborate occasionally. |
