Artist History
Formed in February 2000, these four Grand Valley State University students came together with one goal in mind: To make music that hinted at their influences, but in the long run, still took turns in a new direction. Each member came from a different background. Jeremy, the leader of the band, began as the primary songwriter and initial creative vision of the group. While lacking experience in bands, he still wanted the group to be all it could be.Mike, a newcomer to bands as well, was the first member other than Jeremy to bring his songwriting into the fold. This allowed for the diversity of the band to begin to show.Brandon, a member of Avant-Garde/Fusion band Groute Gate Gender for 3 years, brought a guitar player perspective to the bass and also began to contribute on the creative end.Alex, the final piece of the puzzle, is a veteran on the music scene, with an extensive background in many instruments, as well as drumming for his other band, The Mulligans. He also owns his own label, Reconditioned Records. Citing creative differences and internal conflicts within the band, Brandon, Mike and Alex left the band officially in November, but had not played int he band since early October. Jeremy then put together a new line-up, which once again didn't work out. he is currently hunting for musicians that dig his music and are looking to further the band. |
