Artist History
Call it power pop, emocore, whatever. It's a formula of memorable melodies and big harmonies that have
helped the band carve it's initials into the Boston rock scene. It's Neil Finn
meets Foo Fighters meets Catherine Wheel, nemochrome will fill your ears
and massage your brain with songs that are a dynamic collection of hooks and
moods with smart lyrics and soaring guitars.
Recognized early on by VH1, nemochrome was chosen as a winner of VH1's
Rock Across America contest in the summer of 1999, getting a chance to show
their stuff on the big stage at the Fleet-Boston Pavilion. The band performs
regularly in and around Boston, steadily increasing a loyal fan base. Chosen
to showcase at the 2002 NEMO Music Conference, the band appears to be
making people take notice, exciting news and national recognition for a relative
newcomer to the Boston scene. nemochrome tunes have been featured on
Boston radio stations WBCN, WAAF and WMLN, and have received attention
from Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl. |
