Artist History
PURCHASE THE MILETONES' ALBUM, "ETERNITY" BY PRESSING THE "Links" TAB ABOVE. This gospel group consists of seven members who have been praising the Lord in song for 14 years. They have been in service to God mainly in the mid-Atlantic area. The group started out as family and friends getting together to sing on Sunday afternoons. There were no intentions to sing formally as a group, but after stepping in to fill a need for music on fifth Sundays at a local church, the group was sought out to serve on various programs locally. The demand for the group soon increased and the group was called on to travel further distances to render their music. As audiences constantly requested CD's and tapes of the MileTones' music, the group decided that they should record an album. Their first album was completed and is entitled "Eternity". The work took a year to finish and demonstrates the musical diversity of the MileTones. Each vocalist in the ensemble is capable of singing lead as well as harmonizing in the background. Their talent is displayed in the CD as various members sing lead in this project. |

Press Reviews
"It is very hard to find good talent in local areas that show more than just being a local recording group. But this local group has just amazed me with their project to the point that I know it won't be long before they will probably become nationally known. The MileTones is a out of the box hit, with every selection a hit. In my area the phone has been constantly ringing for the MileTones on a daily basis. From a medium to a heavy rotation on our format list in just six weeks is virtually unheard of from any local group. If you are not playing them or don't have them, then your radio station is just missing out on a local group soon to go big.May god bless you the MileTones and heaven smile upon you. Good things are heading your way." -CISCO, MIDDAY AIR PERSONALITY / WLLL RADIO, LYNCHBURG, VA" 'Uplifting' is an excellent word to describe the MileTones' music, a perky blend of spirituality and catchy rhythm. Some of the music off the new album sounds like Motown meets the Holy Land..." R. A. SAMS, HOPEWELL NEWS "...each member brings a love of music and a regional mix to the group.." M.W.
