Press Reviews
KSP's debut effort 'First and Foremost' is a welcome addition to the stale music scene in America. Tunes like 'Groovinunium' and 'Time to Shine' are filled with energy and nearly force you to shake your booty. The musical influences of Dave Matthews and Agents of Good Roots are obvious, but KSP manages to carve out a unique sound. The searing guitar of Paul McArdle fills the album with quality sounds and effects while Alan and Pete provide a steady beat. Jay Geyer's conga playing and vocals help define the bands sound. Everyone should get a litle dose of KSP. -Mitch Holtz (Album review in Superstar Magazine 6.29.00) |
