This goes beyond the fact that I CANT sing. Why would that stop me? I prefer instrumentals for 3 main reasons a) Often I find myself at odds with the vocals in songs disagreeing with whatever point the the singer is preaching, and this will turn me off -even if I like the music. b) Many times a "vocalist" just sucks and has nothing to say and continues sucking while not saying it.c) More often than not the singer seems to bitch & whine about shit I could care less about and mainly just drones over the music I'm tryin to listen to. Much like a girlfriend pissing & moaning while your trying to take in and appreciate the subtle nuances of professional wrestling.So for these reasons you will rarely find vocals (and never find singing) on my material, unless I really feel strongly about something and something needs to be said. In other words, unlike many bands, if I aint got nuthin to say - I aint gonna say it.I will make you a deal - for anyone like myself - if you come across a Jonezin song with vocals and you think the vocals suck or the point sucks or you disagree with the message (perhaps you enjoy being a shithead) but you enjoy the music, let me know and I will remix a instrumental version and upload just for you!!
