Artist History
Gina Sohl Brown began her professional career in 1992, when she co-founded one of Washington's premiere Christian bands, Overflowin' as the lead vocalist, bass player and one of the song writers. It was there that she not only learned musical skills, but the importance of ministry as well.Former lead singer, bass player and songwriter of the band Overflowin' for over seven years, Gina has taken a promising solo turn with her new CD, Calling. Which will be available for sell in October. |

Gina Sohl Brown was born into a non-traditional family in Borger Texas, she found solace from all the chaos in music. At the age of eight, through the witnessing of her grandmother, Gina became a Christian. However, living in a non-Christian home became a challenging task, and it wassn't until the age of twelve that she had decided to dedicater her life completely to God. During this time Christ gave her the strenght to over come physical and verbal abuse, while gifting her in music and writing. Gina is an active member of her community and has been involved as a board member for Crisis Pregnancy Center, a girl scout leader, Little League Softball Coach, and youth organizations. Has performed in Musical productions, Television, and radio. Gina also shares a wonderful testimony of God's forgiving grace from her trials and triumphs through a difficult mariage. Gina attends Day Creek Chapel, along with her husband and two children, where Rick Miles resides as pastor(Email: rsmiles@cnw.com). There she is involved in the worship team, and youth group. |
