Artist History
TRACER X WAS FOUNDED BY GUITARIST TRACE CRONIN IN 1994. CRONIN'S TECHNICALLY DIVERSE RHYTHMS AND EXPLOSIVE LEADS MIX INTO AN EXTREME BLEND OF ORIGINAL SOUNDS. THEY CONSISTANTLY DELIVER THE SAME HIGH CALIBER MATERIAL, EITHER LIVE, OR IN THE STUDIO. LEAD VOCALIST JOHN P.S.YEAGER, WITH HIS POWERFUL VOCAL RANGE AND DISTINCTIVE SHOWMANSHIP, ALWAYS KEEPS THE CROWD FOCUSED ON THE BAND. BASSIST,MIKE SZOT PROVIDES THE RESONATING LOW END, BACKING VOCALS, AND SPIRITED STAGE PRESENCE IN LIVE SHOWS. ROUNDING OUT THE FOURSOME, IS THE DYNAMIC DRUM BASHING OF ENERGETIC GENE KASPER. TRACER X HAS EARNED ACCLAIM IN OPENING FOR NATIONALLY KNOWN ACTS SUCH AS MISSING PERSONS(CAPITAL RECORDS),MICHAEL BRUCE BAND(ALICE COOPER GUITARIST),QUID PRO QUO(BRETT GARSED AND T.J. HELMRICH. LOCAL LEGENDS ENUFF 'ZNUFF, T.D. CLARK AND NUMBEROUS OTHERS HAVE LENT THEIR TOUR'S OPENING SLOTS TO TRACER X. THEIR FIRST EFFORT. THE CD ENTITLED TRACER. PUT THEM ON THE MAP TO FIND THE ROAD TO SUCCESS. NOW TWO YEARS LATER, THE SOPHOMORE EFFORT, THE FULL-LENGTH CD, TRACING THE HEAVENS, OFFERS A CLEAR DIRECTION TO THE FINAL DESTINATION OF A WORLD CLASS ACT. IN CHICAGO, TRACER X HAS RECEIVED STEADY RADIO PLAY FROM LOCAL STATIONS, RECEIVING POSITIVE REACTIONS TO TRACING THE HEAVENS. |
