Artist History Tokio was a spanish band, Spain isn´t a country that usually have good rockin´ bands, but TOKIO was one more exception ,the kids was based in Pinto, (Madrid), Pinto is a Village who saw born some good AOR bands, for Example HIROSHIMA, ZERO, SANGRE AZUL. The young band recorded in the RED LED studios a demo tape with two songs ;Nunca me rendire y Una noche en la ciudad; and after this the band though that will be a great idea change the language and sing in english, and was a fact. TOKIO won the same year the most important prices who a band can got in the Spanish music, "Villa de Madrid " and "Villa de Bilbao", usually this kind of prices are reserved for the pop artists but they won playing melodic rock in the vein of the swedish megaband EUROPE, after this they edited only one Lp, one promising debut, but his label will close and the band split. Now Vinny Records issue for the first time remastered in cd format this jewel, and there are rumors, if the cd sell well, the band will be together again ten years after of "TRIANGLES", will be great notice for the melodic rock fans.
