    Artist description
T]-[C mainly evolved from Xaos and now reflects two typical styles. On one side there are the harsh danceable Techno-EBM-style songs with the typical distorsioned vocals and heavy beats. And on the other (softer) side there are many chilling instrumental compositions that perfectly fullfill the philosphy of THC by mirroring opposites. Thus this is accousticly done by using various instruments ranging from distorsioned classical violins to synths that sound like FX-overloaded alien guitars. Sound design is very improtant for us t oachieve the sound of the an alternative future. It doesn't matter what it was just how it sounds. Sounds are emotions and by arranging different feelings in a song THC tells a story. The accosutic dogmatics of T]-[C are surrended by Lyrics that should show people the problems of this world -- therefore their eyes should focus on the roots of the problems. T]-[C doesn't say what is right cause there may be no truth that tells us what right is. We just can reassemble that broken image of the truth by finding as much opposites as possible. The truth hurts and so does T]-[C: sometimes it's offending and agressive. And sometimes it shows absolute dissonance - but in the end one might realise it's a resonance to this world we live in. These opposites are the high art of magick - and T]-[C is on the way to become magickal. We show you the mind that evolves into creative madness and union.

    Artist History
The *band* was founded in 1999 when I wanted to add other musical influences to my tracked/keyboard based sound - mostly e-guitars. So far I found a similar-thinking member but somehow the internet made it hard for us. So we split again before we've finished the first song. Attemps to get a female singer in also failed as well as my attempt to found an own *real* band. There are just a way too much bands around here that all play that new-age fag-rock - without roll. So far I found not one single place for my excentric nature. I deceided to do as a solo-artist until times get better. And then in the beginning of 2001 I began writing a story/book and therefore pulled all songs back.

    Additional Info
"On the most rudimentary level there is simply terror of feeling like an immigrant in a place where your children are natives--where you're always going to be behind the 8-ball because they can develop the technology faster than you can learn it. It's what I call the learning curve of Sisyphus. And the only people who are going to be comfortable with that are people who don't mind confusion and ambiguity. I look at confusing circumstances as an opportunity--but not everybody feels that way. That's not the standard neurotic response. We've got a culture that's based on the ability of people to control everything. Once you start to embrace confusion as a way of life, concomitant with that is the assumption that you really don't control anything. At best it's a matter of surfing the whitewater." --John Barlow, lyricist for the Grateful Dead and cofounder of the Electronic Frontiers Foundation
