Artist History
After starting to play violin at the age of 5 Alexander Schraepler, the one and only member of the project SMM, started to play electric guitar at the age of 16. He soon started to play in several hardrock, metal, hardcore and crossover bands. But finally, he was also interested in all the other kinds of music and started playing in a jazz-pop band. But he also got interested in electronic music. The computer provided the ability to mix all these musical influences and combine them with samples done with a minidisc-recorder e.g. while travelling trough Namibia, in a factory in Heidelberg or simply in the neighbourhood. |
