Artist History SKYTOWER were formed in March 1992 on the initiative of Goran Blaško(bass) and Aleš Kaisersberger(guitar). In the beginning they played covers, improvised and searched for somebody with similar musical taste. Only when Mitja Lončarek (guitar) and Peter Truden(vocals) and later in November 1992 Simon Banič(drums) joined the band, SKYTOWER became what they are today. Some years before their CD debut ETC.(Panika Rec), which was well received by critics in Slovenia and abroad, SKYTOWER released two demo tapes: SKYDEMIC TAPE(1993) and SKY DEMO R 94 (1995). From their first appearance at the end of February 1993 the group has had over 100 successful concerts in Slovenia and abroad. Among others SKYTOWER performed at LMS Festival in Hungary, played with Clawfinger and Dog Eat Dog when performing in Slovenia as well as they took part at the Italian Beach Bum Rock Festival near Venice in July 1996, playing side by side with Biohazard, Downset, Ministry and Ozric Tentacles. The most important experience was their support gig with Metallica on the stadium in Ljubljana last year. Skytower are currently working on new material with renowed producer PeterPenko (Laibach, Niowt, Coptic Rain, Six Pack, Silence,..). "Around the clock" is the first (still) demo song from upcoming album"Casualties are neccessary."The band is ready for a new worldwide attack, therefore we are looking for a new label deal - so if anyone has a suggestion, please contact Rock Vibe Music Promotion.
