Artist History
In a time when the airwaves are dominated by an endless stream of shallow, disposable pop, Neanderthal nu-metal and whining, gutless shoe-gazers, LA's mighty Mojo Rib is forging the hard rock sound of the new millennium.
One of the strongest draws on the Los Angeles club scene, the Rib continues to win new converts daily with their driving, anthemic music and nitro-fuel injected stage shows. "The name Mojo Rib describes what we do perfectly," says lead singer Jay Sosnicki, "Part magic, part junk food -- a tailgate party for the ears."
Formed in 2000 by Sosnicki, guitarist Drew Simon, and drummer Castle, Mojo Rib's mission was clear from the start -- put a 21st century spin on good-time, ass-kicking rock 'n roll! Word quickly spread of the band's awe-inspiring live shows, ultimately drawing the services of guitarist Joe Favazza, who helped anchor the group's blistering two-guitar attack. With the addition of bassist Michael White, the lineup was complete.
In 2003, Mojo Rib is poised to jump-start America's rock 'n roll heart with its one-of-a-kind mixture of blistering guitars, razor-sharp hooks, and fire-breathing showmanship! Most important, Mojo Rib's growing success signals the end of the elitism and exclusivity of the alt-rock era. Says Sosnicki, "We're here for the next generation of true rock 'n rollers, the kids who want to sweat, party, and get off in a big way."
Are you ready to believe in rock 'n roll again?
Then dig into the mighty MOJO RIB! |
