Artist History
I am currently residing in Seattle where it truly does rain most of the time. The sun breaks out on occasion and the city marks it as a serious occasion. I have a "normal" job that fills most of my day. However, I do have another side that calls for serious composition. What I want to accomplish is to make fresh and exciting works that please me. If the works please you, then I have truly accomplished something. I regularly study musical concepts, counterpoint and theory. I would definately like to hear from you, the listener, and get feedback. Feel free to contact mp3.com if you have had a moving experiance here. For personal hobbies, I enjoy very much things of an intellectual nature; books, poetry, games and movies. You can not catch me watching television, unless tuned into PBS or things on nature, etc. But, I must say that I love a good alien/UFO show once in awhile. My little advice to any future composers is to go with your inspiration, learn, and attend symphonies as much as possible. Thanks: James Combs |

Press Reviews
Gods of Music.com on "I Love You, I Hate You Scherzo:"masterfully composed. It is indeed an engaging and original neo-classical tune, almost an operatic score. A delightful pizzacato melody and rhythm sets the tone. I can almost see a Fantasia-style cartoon emerging as I listen to this piece" |
