Artist History Elyte was formed in Madrid in 1994. They record their first demo in the same year and the press very well receives it, This leads to a number of gigs in Madrid."Mas Fuerte" (Harder) their second demo was edited in February 1996 and sold around 1,000 copies in Spain. With this release they played; twice at the Sala Canciller in Madrid opening for well-known acts, carried on playing throughout Madrid and many other performances all over Spain. In the summer of '96 they win two competitions for up and coming bands and also record a CD with three songs. In 1997 they come third overall in the Villa de Madrid competition and in the following year they win the best rock band category. Villa de Madrid is the most important competition for up and coming Spanish acts. To follow this up they embark on a major recording session. The philosophy is to be patient and to take the utmost care in crafting the tracks and to use the best studios and production availableThe result of this intense work is "Unno"; a CD of pure melodic hard rock and AOR with excellent production, mixing and creativity bursting out. Without a doubt this is the best CD of melodic rock that has been createdin Spain and, perhaps, signifies a new step fot this genre in the new milenium.Vinny Records launches this piece of work in June and, with time, it will become established as a classic.The story does not end here… watch out for Elyte…
