Press Reviews
First band up on the Second Stage were Bloodstream who played a storming set of power metal. The vocals were faultless throughout their short set with the twin guitar attack, 5 sting bass grind and power house drumming flawless. This band are destined for great things so for more information log on to their official website at www.bloodstream.org.uk.
This band really is metal, their Mp3 collection varies greatly. Featuring; Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal and Doom Metal. They have a great sound in all their Mp3s, all the songs are recorded well (the first band to have done so far!) and they have a great metal beat, fast and heavy just like you want em! The hard 'n' heavy vocals from the lead singer just add to the immense sound. There really is some great playing from the band members which sounds very proffesional, you would never guess they were from Yorkshire! They have an album out called Scarlet which features their best songs from the Mp3 seletion. Please give this band a try they really are good, they have all that you could want in a metal band, which just about sums it up.
Peoplesound review - 'An excellently produced effort from Bradford's Bloodstream, Alone Once More is a builder of a tune that starts with a delicate clean guitar and vocal not unlike mid-period Metallica. Over the course of the 9 and a half minutes the tune climbs to a crescendo of chugging guitars and double-bassing, with the overall feel bringing back memories of Megadeth's classic In My Darkest Hour. (BrynR)
Peoplesound coment - "Alone Once More' has enough power to blow your skull and enough feeling to make you cry."Audiogalaxy coment - "Oh Yeah, I can dig this. Riffs are catchy as hell, and the beat grabs you by the nuts and makes you wanna scream. Definitely goin on my next cd. Thanks for the tunes dude. Come to Ottawa Canada and I'll be at your show. Fuckin eh these beats kick ass!"
