Artist description Aaron's first release on his own Happy 2B Heard Music label "The Popcorn Guy" is an amalgamation of influences from the past one-hundred years. The influences for this mix of songs include: delta blues and folk music from the beginning of the 20th century; country, bluegrass, and rockabilly of the 1940's and 50's; rock and folk music of the 1960's; the singer/songwriters and "outlaw" country artists of the 1970's; and alternative rock and country from the 1980's and 90's. He combines these influences with his life experiences, imagination, and observations of life during the past two and a half decades to create a fresh sound that reverberates with echoes of American music from the past century. "The Popcorn Guy" was recorded by many of Aaron's friends at Farm Fresh Studios in Bloomington, Indiana. The recording chronicles Aaron's musical influences of folk, blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, rock, and old school country. “The Popcorn Guy” is scheduled to be released this year.
