Artist description
When i sleep, i dream. When i dream i do things and go places. When it's time to wake in the morning i shower and i'm off to work as an art director at a creative shop called Lighthouse-Studios.com, where I spent most of the day making stuff. As an artist this is a great time to be alive. So many tools are available to help us all come closer to the creative possibilities that surround us at every moment. In between work and play I enjoy mountain biking, yoga, songwriting and performing. I also publish a monthly webzine called Electrobus.com (next months issue features an exclusive audio interview with Richard Thompson.) In 1999 I got involved with the Baltimore Songwriter’s Association. This group became a springboard for getting me start with the craft of songwriting. Eight months later I recorded my first CD called "almost there." Currently, I’m working with a live loop sampler using guitar, djembe, vocals, didge, ney flute and what ever else I can get my hands on. Playing out live is the best way to connect with people. This is where the real fun happens. As I travel down this new found path of sound expression I hope to record lots of creative stuff along the way. Right now my many main partners include a Macintosh audio workstation, Yamaha keyboards, Steinberg's Cubase, guitar, hand drum, flute, didgery-doo, and plenty of Lindt organic dark chocolate. I’m also working on several projects with Presto (iuma.com/presto) Presto’s musical talents bring an awesome top 40 electric edge to my work that is totally fun to mix and cross-pollinate with various vocal ideas and analog expressions. Please stop back soon for current updates to this sight. And, PLEASE your comments, good bad and/or ugly are always treated as highly coveted feedback. Thank you for visiting! |
