    Artist History
Mike Chen started writing the songs in the middle of his senior year in high school 1998. In the Fall of 2000, Mike hooked up with Matt Huff and Mike Young and started playing parties in Isla Vista, CA (UCSB), but never on a serious level. Mike Young's interest in the band eventually faded and left Mike and Matt without a drummer. Finally, in Janurary 2003, Mike and Matt hooked up with Casey Black and started to take things to a serious level. Awaiting Yesterday has full set of original songs and is looking to play anywhere and everywhere in the Santa Barbara area.
