Artist History
Ricardo Laranja has a long history of performing in the United States and abroad.He also teaches in his spare time as well as playing concerts,festivals and conferences.At the age of 12, Ricardo became the youngest professional musician in Brazilian history.Ricardo published his teaching manual Toque Rapido (Play Fast)at the age of 14.He completed the performance course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.He studied piano at the Frankfurt School of music in Germany.He also attended the University of Engineering of musical Technology in San Jose, California,The School of the Recording Engineering and Media production in Ohio,and the Grove school of music in Los Angeles.This enterprising young man recently graduated with a Jazz Major in Grand Rapids Michigan, the first to do so in 8 years. |
