Artist description JADED is a socially conscious, politically active, post-hardcore band from the frozen tundra of Edmonton. We have a sound that the mainstream has caught up to musically but lyrically still can't comprehend. With our roots firmly grounded in the hardcore and straight edge hardcore scenes we signicantly differ in philosophy to some of the popular heavy bands out there right now. However, that is not to say that the listeners of these bands won't dig our grooves. We pride ourselves on our listenability for a heavy band and just hope that maybe you'll catch the message along the way...

Artist History JADED was formed in 1995 out of the ashes of two local Edmonton hardcore bands who had been pounding away since the late 1980s. The band quickly put out its first CD "Rude Awakening" in 1996 and is ready to release their sophmore album in the near future. Members of the band have shared the stage with the likes of The Melvins, SNFU, Jawbreaker, Coffin Break, The Smalls, Rusty, Surgery, Neurosis and many more.
