Artist History We are Interitus Dei , a gothic - power band from Romania. First of all , this is our line-up: Ana Mladinovici - Vocals Bogdan Boeru - Bass& vocals Bogdan Costea - Guitars & backing vocals Traian Boala - viola Adrian Mihai - Drums&backing vocals Our band was formed in 1994 in Constantza , a big old city on the Black Sea shore. At that time, the band was called simply “Interitus” and we played a kind of aggressive hardcore . In 1995, we changed our style , and released our first doom-gothic demo-tape, “In the search of the dead God”. We decided to put behind us the past, with our former name and style, and to adopt a new title , which was “Interitus Dei”. In 1997 we had our first LP , called “Lonely white idols” and our producer was Bestial Records ( a Romanian label ,concerned exclusively with the promotion of rock music) . By the time the album was out on the market , our band had already had success in the Romanian underground scene , thanks to the numerous concerts held throughout the country ( Constantza, Bucharest, Piatra Neamt, Arad, Buzau, Iasi, Targoviste, Timisoara, Cluj, Ramnicu Valcea, etc. ). The album continued the doom-gothic tradition of the previous demo . “Lonely White Idols” enjoyed great popularity as far as both the critics and the large public were concerned. After the release of the “Lonely White Idols” album , we went on having gigs allover the country , meanwhile we working on our next album . The latter was finalized in August 2000 after a two-month exhausting studio work .Our latest LP has enjoyed the privileges of a professional sound engineering, which gave us the chance to really perform at our best . Advancing in age has meant a rethinking of our musical style . Our musical maturity has been made perfectly clear by the changes as far as style is concerned .Actually , what we did was to have built on the old gothic background , new “power” -like patterns. The name of our latest work is “ The end of revelation” and it has been first presented at the Castle Party -Bolkow , Poland.
