Artist description OP is a solo project started by me (Luke Chen). I live in Singapore, a small island nation (pop: 4 million) in South Asia. I am born a Scorpio in 1972. My interest in making electronic music started when I bought my first synth at the age of 16. Since then, I've been playing around with this passion of mine. My 4 years of college spent in the US has given me the chance to dive into it even more. I produce all genres of electronic music. It all depends on what I hear in my head. But more recently, I've been doing a lot of trance music. I like music that weaves a story and I always try to inject this element into my pieces. I'll talk more about myself and share some of the music resources I've gathered in my new website, www.optoneproject.net (Launch date: 1 Apr '01), so do swing by and check it out.
