Artist History The Southwest Songwriters Assoc. has named COLDSHOT entertainer of the year "LOUD AND PROUD" COLDSHOT is based out of Oklahoma City Ok. The lead guitar (Shawn) and bass player (Terry) have been together since 1992. The drummer (Sean) and the other lead guitar player (Brett) have been playing together in since 1987. COLDSHOT was born in 1996 when things went wrong with a former band member. COLDSHOT plays a lot of original music, it is rock and roll, but it has a hard blues edge. We play a lot of covers too from S.R.V. to the Rolling Stones to Creed. Recently COLDSHOT has played the KATT's (100.5 FM) Jungle Room studio, and the KATT has been playing their music on the local talent show every Tuesday night at 12:00 midnight. COLDSHOT has played alot of good gigs in the past, like opening for Dr. Hook and Clarence Carter in Lawton, Ok. Firefall in Chickasha, Ok. We played the first annual 23rd Street Blues Festival in O.K.C. We played the From Dusk Till Dawn Blues Festival in Rentiesville Ok. and met the blues legend Hubert Sumlin (Shawn got to jam with him it was way cool).COLDSHOT has a new CD called DRIVIN' THE BUS. It has five songs on it, all penned by the members of the band. We are hoping to do another one after the summer. We are always writting new music.
