Artist History In December of 92, A Philadelphia Tradition was born. Leon Evans,director and choreographer produced the play "Carols in Color" a holiday musical starring Veronica Underwood and EleoneDance Theatre. Carols in Color is based on Black Nativity by Langston Hughes and a musical adaptation by Vinette Carroll in the 60's by the same name. "Carols" like "Nativity" is joyous and uplifting, but is more contemporary and stimulating.
