Artist History
A Tonal Theory was born through the amalgamation of Evan J. Beigel and Sharon Paul. Two conceptual composers who challenge the way compostion is approached today. Evan and Sharon joined forces to bring a body of work to the people, honouring the visually impaired, connecting us all in a unique understanding of each colour. Think about it, the simplicity of the concept mixed with the sophistication of their compositional skills and foresight....it's brilliant. Evan and Sharon set out to create something never done before, leading to everyone and every culture through the accesibility of their concept and using this album as a vehicle for stimulating the senses. Their name....A Tonal Theory also was well thought out. A - 1st letter in the alphabet, 1st note in music - primary colour. Tonal - Sound, music and their own conceptual sound with mellifluous sensibilities fusing the mind and ears. Theory - their own theory as derived from historical and universal theories of sound and music. |
