Many Hands are a New Zealand based group of musicians from Asia, Europe and the Pacific Islands. who together are creating new music which reflects the multicultural nation that is modern New Zealand. Our permament core musicians direct and shape the sound and direction of Many Hands,inviting other musicians and and performers to take part in our musical projects. Some of our more ambitious live performances have involved as many as 60 performers, including dancers, acrobats and jugglers as well as musicians. |

Artist History
The original core of Many Hands was formed in 1993 at a live performance of African Drumming in Wellington New Zealand when the original members of the band found themselves on stage at the same time.The band has a permamenent core of 6 musicians and brings together up to 60 performers for concerts about twice a year. |
