Artist History
INPHINITE is a five-piece heavy metal band with a sound and groove like no other in West Michigan. INPHINITE was formed during the summer of 1999 when Derek McDaniel, former drummer of Pivot, and vocalist Pat Lemon got together with Keith Lemon, Clint Devlin, and Brian Frankowski. The combination of Pat's flowing lyrics, Derek's destructive drum beats, and Clint's twisted approach to the guitar was a perfect match. Brian's main role in the band is to use his melodic approach to the guitar to fill the gap between Clint's rigid assault and the rhythm section of Derek McDaniel and bassist Keith Lemon. Upon first gathering there was an explosion of sound and energy, and everyone involved vowed to capture this sound and energy. Since that first night in the summer of 1999 INPHINITE has written up to twenty songs, ranging from borderline hardcore to the acoustic melodies of, "I Am What I Am." Performances include the preliminary round of the Battle of the Bands at Peppers in Kalamazoo, and several local band showcases. After all INPHINITE performances feedback from the audience has been positive. The most common remark made about this band is, "their energy level is amazing." The group was dubbed "INPHINITE" because once the show starts it never stops. With the chemistry and devotion they display INPHINITE cannot and will not be hindered from their destiny. |
