Artist History Gemini Lounge is Nelson Mantle and Brian Hoese. Spawned from the darkness of the notorious "Atomic Cafe" in Scottsdale Arizona (now in Austin, TX), Brian and Nelson met over a chancey, non argumentative spilling of a Coor's Light bottle (Brian knocked a beer out of Nelson's hand). The discussion of music was brought up and fate has taken over ever since. Recording from such high-tech places such as closets, bathrooms and all the way to their mouse-infested wherehouse/studio in Tempe, AZ, Gemini Lounge continues to create (strive to, anyway) different styles of music to express the bi-polar, split personality vibe of their attitude and the world today. Their unpredictable musical outcomes have been described as "Going from Enya to Ministry in 0.2 seconds". Gemini Lounge, at this very moment, in all probability is spending more money on gear they can't afford to write more music they can't ignore or perfect, but then again, can you really perfect anything?
