Artist History
Emerging from St.Louis has brought in cultures of both the West and East coasts. The 4 guys that make up DBS- Casey, Mike, Eric, and MC- formed in March of 2000, but all came from other bands. Casey, Mike, and Eric all came from the alt/metal band Versatle and MC(mike brooks) from rap metal bandsBacklash and Narrow. Bringing in MC to the band and his musical background (especially being Garth Brooks' nephew) really stepped the guys song writting as well as a live show. The band immediatly started writting songs and went into the studio to record their first demo "Expenisive Mistakes" including local hit "saber". Over the Summer of 2000 the band when to the West Coast to tour with Drive Thru Records band "Finch"(formerly numb) and played shows at Hollywood's famous Roxy along with many other places in Southern California. Currently the guys are back home working on their first full length album. |
