Artist description Molly Reid was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1972. She was raised in a very close family, and from an early age began singing at home, school, and at church. Entering talent and beauty contests planted the seed that became a passion to entertain! Through the years Molly has appeared in numerous television and radio commercials. Along with her band, she played clubs, private parties, and benefit shows in the Louisville area. Opening shows for Joe Diffie, Ty Herndon, Jo Dee Messina, and David Kersh have proved to be both fascinating and invaluable experiences. The last few years have been busy ones. While performing at night, the daytime hours found her hard at work obtaining a business management degree from Sullivan College. The recording studio became a second home as she recorded new songs and developed her own sound. In January of this year she made the move to Nashville. During the past few months Molly has been hard at work laying the foundation of what she and many others believe to be a very promising career. Molly realizes it takes time, determination, luck, and a true love of what you are doing to become successful. The public looks for artists that they can relate to, and be able to somehow live out their somewhat "normal" life through their favorite singers music and videos. Molly is definitely relatable, while at the same time having that charisma that people admire. Her look is magnificent and her heart is full of love and compassion.
