Press Reviews
From Thrashworx zine Forceful vocals, mad guitar solos and absolutely brilliant melodic Guitars make the Mithras sound both Brutal and Original.Imagine Nile and Val Halen Jamming with Morbid Angel while singing songs about dreams, visions and ancient civilisations and you come close to the Mithras sound. "Dreaming in Splendour" is just so different to the modern Death metal scene that it's hard to explain. Track one "Vae Solis" is good, but the title track is unbelievable, a song that will stick in your head for days after listening to it. Finale "Wrath of God" is the heaviest track on the demo and leaves you with a taste for more. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Hail Mithras 9/10 http://www16.brinkster.com/thrashworx/demos/index.html |
