    Artist History
Left Orbit Temple was founded in 1997 by James Teitelbaum, who had previously played synth/sampler in bands like Pigface and Evil Clowns, and who had also worked on Ministry’s tech crew. Deciding the time was right to strike out on his own, he began composing a new body of songs. Bringing in a wide array of friends to help him flesh out the tracks, James named the band Left Orbit Temple, and the CD Prolusion. He also decided that he wanted the CD to be something truly special and unique, so he decided to include a CD-Enhanced section which would feature the work of nine artists working in virtually all imaginable media.Wrangling nine artists and some fifteen musicians, James has begun to think of himself as the ‘director’ of Left Orbit Temple, more than a band leader or composer. Future CD releases will include new artists - both musical and visual - making each LOT release something like an arts magazine on CD. Live performances are not currently planned, but multi media events consisting of video, movement, and music might be on the agenda for 2001. Left Orbit Temple: http://www.tydirium.net
