Artist History It all began in Thrane's 1937 voyage to the IvoryCoast, or "Tuskworld" as it is called locally.While prospecting for germanium deposits for hisnew transparent-to-infrared-light-candy business,Thrane was mauled by an American buffalo that hadmiraculously turned up on the wrong continent.Locals carried him on an elephant to a specialmedecine man who examined him and decided he shouldbe killed with the other foreigners in a huge pit.It was in the caverns of this pit that Thrane metco-writer and vocalist, Steve Clark, and drummer,David. After a daring cave-escape, the trioformed a band, which has wowed crowds ofTuskworlders ever since.
