Artist History
Lawsey's Posse was formed in 1998. The name came from the phenomenal drummers' last name “Lawson”. Guitarists and vocalist Garrett Martin and Derek Sibert started playing guitar together and soon after recruited musical genius and basest Miah Wander, who suggested to jam with drummer Brian Lawson. The band started playing covers and writing music for shows in their hometown of C-Town Oregon. LP Quickly became popular and an integral part of the music scene in and around C-Town Oregon. Due to the pressure of obsessive fans Lawsey's Posse finally decided to contract with Unity recording, and record their first album- Sidewalk Chalk, featuring some of their most popular originals such as Jimmy Shaker Days, Pier 26, Thank You, and Bravo. LP wanted to produce and sell the album themselves, but soon turn the job over to NightWatch Productions. Lawsey's Posse and Nightwatch have been selling CD's to the locals ever since. |
