Artist History
Jim's family began introducing him to the art of music quite early. With a father who's a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry and a sister who's toured the country as a vocalist, there was always an endless source of rhythm and inspiration to tap into. By age twelve, he became versatile in several instruments and had discovered song writing. During middle school, Jim was performing in high school bands, and through college, was appearing at local nightspots playing classic rock, top 40 and original music. From singing in competitive choirs, to writing scores for jazz concerts, he quickly became a diverse songwriter and performer. Some of Jim's accomplishments included co-writing a song that won a top 10 percent spot in the national Music City Song Festival, composing soundtracks for local videos and independent films, and appearing in the music scenes of both Philadelphia and New York City. His debut CD, At Table #1, reveals how diverse his style is, with a unique flavor of classic rock patterns over modern pop.
