Artist History
Fusing elements of American death metal and melodic European metal, Buffalo, New York’s Hatescar have achieved an innovative sound in a region where heavy metal has become a thing of the past. In a town where hardcore reigns, Hatescar has proven that well crafted metal can flourish in such a hostile environment. Employing the use of a dual guitar attack complemented by a chaotic rhythm section and acid lung vocals, Hatescar have found a way to create a wide array of brutal, yet memorable songs capable of winning over the most skeptical of listeners. The latest effort "Consuming the Immortal" is their most progressive material to date, and is a prime example of the strong mix of intense heaviness and catchy melodies that have helped to establish Hatescar as a force to be reckoned with in the metal world. The live incarnation of their music is destructive and emotional as the band embodies the music on stage. Through constant live performances and a four-disc catalogue of hard-hitting material, Hatescar have been able to build a very devout fan base in the Western New York area. The future holds bright things as the band continues to progress into uncharted regions of the metal spectrum. Only time can tell what will happen next__ |
