Artist History Dave Broyles, after graduating with a degree in music from the College of Santa Fe in May of 1997, started writing and recording the material that would eventually become "Feezle Day", the debut album by Dr. Pants. Once Dave moved from Santa Fe back to Oklahoma City (his hometown), he continued to write and record, as well as look for musicians to complete his group. He found his first willing co-conspirator in Brian Byrne, an old friend. Brian played guitar and sang, and he and Dave began performing in OKC as an acoustic duo in the fall of 1999 under the Dr. Pants moniker. Several months later, they were joined by Kitt Thompson (bass) and Jeremy Green (drums), who completed the full lineup. In February of 2000 the full quartet began to perform live, and "Feezle Day" was released. At two CDs, 38 tracks and 141 minutes, it is absolutely the largest debut album by an OKC band ever. Dr. Pants has continued to perform in OKC throughout the last few years, through several personnel changes.
