Press Reviews
What paragraph about Minneapolis would be complete without a mention of the Wonsers. The Wonser's smart catchy lyrics and tight, straightforward sound heralds parallels to early R.E.M. or Matthew Sweet, and has won the respect from members of Soul Asylum, The Jayhawks and Wilco. the Wonsers have melted their influences together with their own keen talents, creating a winning pop formula all their own...if the fellows continue to put together charming, well wrought songs, they can go as far as they want. |
