Artist History Michael and Greg, life long friends, began the Sonic Velvet ride by forming the rock group Merge. The songs flowed easily and the raw dynamic sound was established. After the group hit the road with a number of drummers, they found Billy down and out in a New Jersey bar...passed out and in need of musical resuscitation. He was a perfect fit. Sonic Velvet was born!
