Artist History
Rob started in Baton Rouge, LA playing acoustic shows. He then formed a band, which was more like whichever of his friends could play a show at that time. It then gravitated to a pretty solid lineup of four individuals: Rob, Tammy, Shelby and Catrina. We played shows all around Baton Rouge and New Orleans with such diverse artists as Shannon Wright, the Kemores, the Velvet Teen, and Estereo. We also recorded a cd which was released in August 2001. Then Rob and Tammy moved to Austin and found April May, who plays a cello. Rob has recorded some demos of songs and released them as October Lust. We will record another "real" cd soon |

Press Reviews
review of Forever the Arrows Press On from lapunx.com:
Secret Annexe grabs a cross between early Sex Pistols vocals split with a Violent Femmes sound. Forever the Arrows Press On also grabs some Neil Young feeling with a crisp guitar riff and sharp percussion throughout these 11 tracks reviewed.
The secret behind Secret Annexe is Rob Mulhearn. He is credited with all instruments minus the drums and the trumpet -- a small feat of engineering marvel none the less. The mellow sounds and powerful lyrics bring out sort of of a "calm" sounding Femmes album from way back when.
What I Learned Yesterday is by far my favorite of the bunch, along with Secret Shadow Wish. Definately reminiscent of the slow, rich sound of Neil Young.
Other credits include Tammy Rich on drums, Shelby Rushing handling piano/keyboard duties along with bass and vocals, Catrina Rogers on the trumpet/flute, and Ryan Rushing following up with some added drum beats.
