Artist description
Santa Ana Drags combines the raw sounds reminiscent of early work from The Replacements and Husker Du with their own energetic brand of Portland Rock. The ensuing sound rides the edge between punk and rock. Since Santa Ana Drags’ inception, the band has been steadily gaining momentum. They have spent the last year defining their sound and building a local following. |

Artist History
Santa Ana Drags hails from Portland, Oregon. All members of the four piece band are natives to the Northwest. Guitarist Stoney Curtis, Bassist Ian Barret, and Drummer Brian Ross played together briefly as The Americans before being joined in April of 2000 by Lead Vocalist David Sicotte. David’s provocative vocals and captivating performance immediately took the band off the ground. It was then that Santa Ana Drags began. |

Press Reviews
“…the NW's newest sensation, the brash young Santa Ana Drags are in the midst of recording their first album. Boasting a sound that pairs the muscle of Foo Fighters with the 80's melody found in bands like The Plimsouls and Modern English. Their set promises to be propulsive and hook laden. “
