Artist History
A songwriter and guitarist for most of his life, Loren West has spent over a decade playing a host of venues in New York City including CBGBs, Danceteria, Kenny's Castaways, The Peppermint Lounge, TRAX and the Bitter End. His songs "Reason To Believe" and "Forever Mine" both earned Certificates of Achievement from Billboard magazine. His song "On the Edge", performed by the band Silent Men, appeared on the MTV Basement Tapes program. He is affiliated with ASCAP as both a writer and a publisher and holds a degree in music from Hunter College in NYC. Loren recently moved to Philadelphia PA where he continues to write songs and produce his own material. |
