Artist History GogMagog's debut CD, "ON THE CREST OF THE RAZOR ENGINE", released in 1995, was the culmination of two years of experimentation and occasional insobriety. Now "REANIMATE", their follow-up effort, comes five years later, but was conceived and completed in a month.

Group Members Mike Mancini masterminds the audio and visual origination and supplies the voice of GogMagog. He's the thematic and lyrical author, strange noise tonal creator and head synthesizer honcho. Paul Barton, the engineering and production guru of the GogMagog projects, tends to plan every step of the process in excrutiating detail. He prefers re-recording, re-mixing and re-mastering until either the audio palette sounds perfect or his head explodes.

Instruments Heavy layers of pounding drums, sampled and synthesized instruments, sounds not found in nature and lots of sudden left turns.
