    Artist History
De-Evolvin is a 4-piece band from Mesa, Arizona. Formed as a joke of a band in 1998, with the only "members" being guitarist/vocalist Adam Passwater and ex-drummer John Ohlund. At this time, the bandwas known as the Green Metal Buttheads, a combination of Green Day, Metallica, and Beavis and Butthead. After much talk about it, Ron Lamb was finally added as a secondary guitarist. When the trio finally had enough free time, they decided to practice together. After playing a cheap cover of a few Green Day songs, they decided to call it quits for the day....later that day, they went to the local high school, lit a trash can on fire and threw it off the football stands. This would later be, combined with the influence of John, the inspiration behind their first song, "Save the Forest". After a few months of practicing very little and talking very much, during the summer of 1999, Adambecame friends with another drummer, Cameron Ostemeir. Adam, Ron and Cameron practiced a few times in Camerons garage. Not so quick to dismiss John, the combination of Adam, Ron and each drummer became an inconstant decision. After looking at musical differences, De-Evolvin was officially formed with Adam, Ron and Cameron. During this period was probably the most change within De-Evolvin. Shortly after Johns dismissal, Ron Lamb was asked to leave. He had only been playing for a few short months and could not keepup with the growing speed of De-Evolvin. It was now just Adam and Cameron. With the lack of binding in the two-piece band, they rarely practiced. Adam continued writing lyrics and music, but as a whole, the band, continuing being bassist-less, almost called it quits. During the summer of 2000, De-Evolvin was re-evolved, into a now 4-piece band. Lead guitarist Ben Kelly and bassist Chad Wagner were bolth added to the line-up, and De-Evolvin has already practiced together more then the entire history of De-Evolvin combined, with one problem. Camerons mom is a bitch. Due to some friction between his mother and himself, he has since been grounded forthe rest of the summer. Making with whats given tothem, De-Evolvin is currently practicing with a different line-up, with Adam as lead vocals/gutiar, Chad on bass, and Ben moving to the drums.
