Artist description
The big composer from the little town! Growning up in
suburbia (Layton, Utah), Zak has become a colorful composer.
From the electronic reggae bass tones to acoustic campfire,
not to mention a little classical influence, there is no end to what his style is.
And that is just the composed music. Zak sang for many rock bands including local
favorites Deap Blue, Catfische, and later Hoo Ray Who? From all this he has learned
to spill his vocal guts out with witty rap lines to add.

Artist History
Zak was born in Ogden, Utah, January 23, 1975. Zak began writing compositions at an early age. But it wasn't until later would he explore the craft after forming high school band Deap Blue. Two years after his first taste of band performing, he formed Hoo Ray Who? in 1995. The group however only stayed together for a few months. Then Zak joined Catfishce for two years singing all over the Wasatch Front. Zak reformed Hoo Ray Who? in 1998 and that band broke up September 2001. Zak is currently working on a new solo project scheduled to be completed in December 2002. There is much excitement with this new albumn since Zak has so much new material on new instruments like the ASR 10. Watch for it! |
