Artist description
Triology is the new fusion: The melding of styles and constant evolution of musical expression that is fueled by the continuing expansion of improvisational boundaries.Triology's original music combines the genre-bending sessions of fusion pioneers such as The Tony Williams Lifetime, Mahavishnu Orchestra and (Herbie Hancock) The Headhunters, with the funky, edgy sounds of today's acid-jazz innovators such as John Scofield and Medeski, Martin & Wood. |

Artist History
Hailing from Queens, New York, all 3 members of triology met thru mutual friends andthe neighborhood music store. What began as a casual jam session became an intenserecognition that each player had found their musical matches. The challenge that each memberbrings to the table created the Triology sound, based around intense improvisation, unusual melodic and rhythmic manipulation and the need to create something new with each and every session. |
