Artist History
The PDP is a band that likes to lie... a lot. Nobody is sure how many members they have, how many people really have been guests on their songs, what they play and what they sample, where they are from, or if they even exsist at all. And that is just the way that they like it. |
|
Group Members
E.A., Dr. Righteous, Eva-Lution 1.0, DJ Dragonmaster |
|
Instruments
We're told a mic, keyboard, bass, guitar, and a computer... we believe the computer part, but we're not too sure about the rest |
|
Albums
They say over 1,000 albums have been sold in the underground under other names, but we couldn't find anybody who had one... |

Press Reviews
1/23/01-- Another one of our favorite artists here on mp3.com. The Paranoid Dead Project takes on the heavy laden task of compelling the listener rather nicely, introducing you to textured soundscapes not unlike Tangerine Dream in their clarity, and early Steve Roach in their depth. Supposing that PDP is a one man operation, you can imagine the depth in which this music is thought out and applied to the sincere intentions of PDP. Supposing it's not a one mand band, you can imagine the communication between members as being remarkable. PDP makes an obversation into the use of lightwaves in order to provoke the listener into following his riffs. One note pedals are all it needs, with an occasional three to five note chorded wash, creating a platform upon which any person can rest easily and meditate. Highly recommended for REM.
